Students worked hard this week to package all of the donated supplies to our adopted fourth grade classroom in St. Croix. This particular fourth grade classroom was completely destructed by the recent hurricanes. All of our shipments have been packaged by our third graders, and they were sent off! They should arrive next week. Thank you families and students for all of your generosity and hard work. Let's keep sprinkling kindness throughout the world!

Our fabulous Physical Education teacher organized an awesome day of fun for our students last week. Students were able to participate in field day throughout the afternoon, attending any stations they wanted! At then end of the day, Mr. Welton organized Emagine Theatres to come in and show a short movie with popcorn! What a fun day for our students!
Yesterday, students worked in partnerships to design a trap to catch Leap the Leprechaun! They used a variety of materials and supplies to create their trap. Students were asked to collaborate to use at least 6 different materials to trap Leap. Students were also asked to write an opinion paragraph persuading me why their trap was the best trap! Their creativity definitely came out, and these third graders had a ton of fun planning, creating, and showing their leprechaun traps to the class!
Wow! These third graders blew me away with their drive to learn their multiplication facts. I want to extend a thank you to all of the support provided at home by family members during multiplication month. It paid off. The kids grew a ton with their multiplication fluency. This week, we had our Multiplication "Product Party" to celebrate our growth! We even have friends now who are moving onto mastering their division facts.
